Jurisdiction COGIC-Department of Women’s 38th
Annual Convention will convene on Tuesday, April 29th at
Griffin Memorial COGIC
beginning at 7:30pm with a musical.Workshops will be held
on Wednesday and Thursday, April 30th & May 1st from
7:00pm-8;00pm.Worship service will
begin at 8:00pm, except on Friday, May 2nd it will
begin at 7:00pm.All are invited to

Westminster College will be
sponsoring their annual science/math summer camp for girls
moving from the 7th grade into the 8th grade
specifically.This is a 4-day, 3-overnight time frame and there are 2
sessions scheduled, each accepting 40 girls.You need to complete
an application, write a brief description of why you want to
attend or what you hope to gain from the participation, and
submit a letter from a teacher or counselor who knows
you.Application

vs.
BIBLE
I wonder
what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell
phone?
What if we
carried it around in our purses or pockets?What if we flipped
through it several times a day?
What if we
turned back to go get it if we forgot it?What if we used it to
receive messages from the
text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't
live without it?What if we gave it to Kids as gifts? What if we used
it when we traveled?What if we used it in case of emergency? This is
something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible? Oh, and
one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry
about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid
the bill.And there
are no dropped calls! Makes you stop and think 'where are my
priorities'?
